The American Legion Post has been reactivated. The Post meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the American Legion Post, 146 S. Main Street.

The Broadway Optimist Club, Inc. was chartered on December 8, 1994 under the guidance of Optimist International. The club began with sixty-six charter members who were dedicated to the motto "Friends of Youth". In addition to the successful baseball program for kids 4 years to 18 years of age, the Club also participates in programs with Broadway Elementary School, such as Student of the Month and Student of the Year Programs; and Oratorical and Essay Programs with Lee Christian School. The Club hosts the Broadway Optimist Old Fashion Christmas Parade and Celebration held in downtown Broadway each December. The club meets the first and third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm at the Broadway Optimist Clubhouse at Lett Family Park.

 "To work together in friendship for a better community" is one of the founding principles of the Woman's Club of Broadway. Since 1966, it has been involved in many civic projects including beautification of the Broadway Town Park, the Community Building grounds and Main Street. They sponsor "Meet the Candidates Night" prior to town elections, a Candlelight Service and Open House Tours in highlight of the Christmas season, a summer league T-ball team and have compiled a History of Broadway, Past and Present. The Woman's Club of Broadway meets the third Monday of the month at 7:00pm at the Broadway Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
